Modern Prophetic Warnings

Here I try to identify and list different types, and show biblical examples of each kind. (info may be added in the future as I refine this) Who is the audience? The nature of the prophecy will differ depending on who is the audience. The next sections will talk about warning prophecies urging the wicked to repent. In this case, the audience is "the wicked". The Old Testament had a number of this type of prophecy. But there are also prophecies of encouragement. In the current age, there are a lot of prophecies given to encourage the believers.  The Three Days of Darkness   Anna Maria Taigi lived from 1769-1837. This is a well-known prophecy inside the Catholic Church. It also parallels the prophecy in Revelations 6 in the Bible. This text below is quoted directly from Wikipedia. (link below)  The three days of darkness is a clearly recurring theme in modern prophecies. In many of them, instructions are given by God on how to behave during the 3 days of darkness, and how to survive it. Alois Irlmaier and Linda Courtney also mention 3 days of darkness, in previous blog articles here. Alois Irlmaier also gives similar instructions on how to behave during the 3 days of darkness. Regarding the candles, Anna Maria Taigi specifies that one should use blessed candles for lighting during the 3 days of darkness, whereas Linda Courtney said only plain, white wax candles should be used.  America's Bitter Cup This prophecy comes via Linda Courtney, who has a YouTube channel. The original video is here. I copied this down from the captions so it can easily be searched and cross referenced. It was published by her on September 21, 2019. She is an older lady, in her late 70's at the time. She has a very matter-of-fact way of teaching and sharing her insights, often while sitting in a chair in front of her smartphone. She often shares bible passages and teaches lessons from the bible. Via the video linked above, you can also find her YouTube channel, which is in her own name. Note, the prophetic message she gives here is very similar to the one given years ago by Dumitru Duduman. Alois Irlmaier's Prophecy from the 1950's  A bit about Alois Irlmaier There is a good Wikipedia article about Alois Irlmaier in German, where I source this background information. He is a Bavarian, and makes that well known in his writings. The German he uses is often quoted in the Bavarian dialect, which is somewhat difficult to understand for a speaker of Hochdeutsch. He was born on June 8, 1894 and lived until July 26th, 1959. He spoke several prophecies, and became known for it, with people writing down his prophecies and preserving them. He comes from a Catholic background. There is a section below about 3 days of darkness. This is a commonly recurring theme in modern prophecies, and I will cross reference it with other prophecies and the Bible. The Bible is the foremost authority in prophecy.
